Smt. Surekha K.

She obtained LL. B Degree from Vaikunta Baliga College of Law, Udupi and LL.M Degree with specialization in International law from Department of Studies in Law, University of Mysore, Mysore. She has been appointed as an Assistant Professor in Law in Vaikunta Baliga College of Law, Udupi. She is pursuing her Ph.D. in Law from the Karnataka State Law University, Navanagara, Hubballi. She has 17 years of teaching experience. She has completed K-SET conducted by University of Mysore, Mysore.

She was the Co-ordinator for Quiz and Debate for a period of five years and Programme Officer of Youth Red Cross for a period of seven years. Since last three years she is the Programme Officer of NSS unit. At present she is the Secretary of Parent- Teacher Association and Alumni Association.

Her areas of Interests are International Law, Criminal Law, Banking Law and Professional Ethics. She has co-ordinated many National seminar/conferences and workshops. She has participated and presented research papers in National and Regional conferences/seminars/workshops. She has published articles in various law journals.
