VALEDICTORY FUNCTION OF KARNATAKA STATE LAW UNIVERSITY INTERCOLLEGIATE MEN AND WOMEN CHESS TOURNAMENT 2019-20
The Valedictory function of Karnataka State Law University Intercollegiate Men and Women Chess Tournament 2019 was organized on 31-08-2019. The chief guest, Dr. K. Rajagopal Shenoy, President of Udupi District Chess Association , along with guests of honor Mr. Vasanth B H, International Arbiter and Mr. Krishne Gowda, President of Physical Education Directors Association, KSLU Hubli, spoke on the occasion. Prof.(Dr.) Prakash Kanive, principal of Vaikunta Baliga College of Law presided over the function.
First place in Chess tournament (Men’s Category) was bagged by students of Vidyavardhaka Law college Mysore , followed by BMS Law College, Bangalore (1st Runner-up) and SDM Law College(2nd Runner-up). First Place in Chess Tournamnet (Women’s Category) was bagged by students of SDM Law College Mangalore, followed by JSS Law College Mysore(1st Runner-up) and Vidyavardhaka Law College, Mysore (2nd Runner-up).
