WOMEN’S DAY CELEBRATION 2021
On 8th March,2021 International Women’s Day celebrated in the college.
Dr. Sukanya Mary Joseph, Principal, Poorna Prajana Women’s College, Udupi inaugurated the function. Prof. Rohith S.Amin, faculty, Vaikunta Baliga College presided over the function. Prof(Dr.) Nirmala Kumari, Principal, Vaikunta Baliga, Mr. Prakash Rao, Physical Education Director were also present on the occasion. In her iunaugural speech madam Sukanya advised all students especially girl students to join Indian Army and to serve the nation. Madam shared her experiences as an NCC officer to point out that nothing can pull back the willpower of a woman. Women have immense powers given by nature itself. She also mentioned about the importance of the Hindi language and its potential to unite the people. Rohith sir in his presidential address said that attitude towards women have to be changed in the society. Then only the society can develop.
