Personal Empowerment Programme –Talk on GST
On 20.9.2018 as a part of the Personal Empowerment Programme Mr. Rajesh Prasad IAS, GST Commissioner, New Delhi gave a talk on the subject One Nation One Tax. He spoke about the object of implementing the GST Act and also explained in detail the Goods and Services which have been taxed and where the excemptions are provided. He highlighted on the importance of the Costitutional Amendments to the VIIth Schedule of the Constitution.The programme came to an end with the discussion round where most of the students as well as the members of media and public clarified their doubts in connection with GST. Principal , Prof: Prakash Kanive presided over the function.
