AWARENESS PROGRAM ON WORLD SUICIDE PREVENTION DAY 2019
An awareness program on ‘World Suicide Prevention Day’ was organised by our college on 9th September 2019 in association with Dr.A.v. Baliga Memorial Hospital and District Government Hospital Psychiatric department Udupi.
The program was inaugurated by Dr. P. V. Bhandary, Director of Dr.A.V.Baliga Memorial Hospital along with Dr. Vasudev S, Psychiatrist, District Hospital Udupi . This was followed up by technical sessions conducted by the resource persons regarding Mental Health Care Act and the concept of committing suicide in India. The principal of the institution Prof.(Dr.) Prakash Kanive presided over the program.
