PERSONAL EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM ON BSE MAIL
On 21st August 2020 a personal empowerment program on the Bombay Stock Exchange was organized for the final year students by Internal Quality Assurance cell of Vaikunta Baliga College of law in association with Lotusknowleath Pvt. Ltd. , Mumbai
As mass gathering is dis-saved amidst the global pandemic, the seminar was organized through ‘ZOOM’ an online platform.The resource person for the seminar was Mr. Pankaj Mathkar, an electronic engineer with over two decades of work experience in the financial IT space.
In his talk the resource person gave an insight on the functioning of Bombay Stock Exchange, and the mechanism of running the Capital market. He also briefed up about the market investments , its terms, spoke about the market growth, about the advantages and disadvantage of short term investment as well as long term investments.
Towards the end of the seminar there was a discussion round where the students clarified their doubts by posing the question to the resource person, which was meticulously answered by the resource person
