Virtual Celebration of World Environment Day 7th June 2021
NSS unit in association with IQAC organized Environment Day online on 7th June 2021. We invited two Environmentalists as Resource persons i.e., Sri Dinesh Holla, Artist and Convenor and Shri Shashidhar Shetty, National Environment Care Foundation. Both the session was very educative and they stressed on protection of Western Ghats and they wished that students could visit the place in order to better learn. We promised that once situation is settled definitely, we will do it. It’s the matter of Survival. Ravindra Nath Shanubough was the President of the Programme. Sir also pointed out real issues happening relating to the environment and how it might be disastrous in course of time. Sir has alerted and said its not only the duty of environmentalists but too it’s the responsibility of every one of us to safeguard the environment. Discussion took place before vote of thanks wherein students actively involved themselves and benefitted by the programme.
